Dr. Ravi Busanelli developed a passion for animals from an early age hanging around with his father who was a large animal vet. After deciding to follow in his father's footsteps, he graduated in 1994 from Veterinary College in Parbhani, Maharastra India. He then worked in a variety of practices for 13 years focusing on poultry, dairy cow and other food animal medicine, before immigrating to Canada. Dr. Ravi completed Veterinary Skills Training and Enhancement Program (VSTEP) in 2009 and shortly after acquiring his full license as well as making the transition to small animal medicine. He has worked in reputable clinics such as Kingston Road Animal Hospital, Toronto South Animal Hospital, Detroit Animal Care Hospital, and Brimley–Lawrence Animal Clinic. He enjoys spending his spare time with his wife Swathi, and two kids Lohit, Likitha, their dog Moksha, and two cats Leo and Polar. He has strong interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and delivering the highest quality of medicine to his small animal patients.
